Who we are

animated.recipes is a product of Kinetik Infotech Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, number 17511555, whose registered office is at 124-128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. Where this policy says “we”, “us” or “our”, it means Kinetik Infotech Ltd, the data controller for any personal data processed through this site. It is covered by the same data policies as Kinetik’s other services, set out in Kinetik’s privacy policy. For any question or request, write to data.controller@kinetik.it.com.

What we collect

We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and the fonts are served from this site rather than from a third party.

The waitlist form is the only place on this site that sends us anything. When you send it, we receive your name, your email address and, if you give one, the recipe you would like. We do not record your IP address with it. The form also has a hidden field that people never see: a submission that fills it is treated as automated and is not kept.

How we use it

We use your details to email you when animated.recipes opens, and the recipes people ask for to decide which dishes to make first. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except as described here.

Hosting and storage

Cloudflare hosts this site (Cloudflare Pages). As part of routing and protecting the site, Cloudflare processes standard request information, such as your IP address and browser user-agent, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Each waitlist sign-up is stored in a database we hold with Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1), where only Kinetik Infotech’s staff can read it. Cloudflare processes it as our processor.

How long we keep it

We keep your sign-up until we have told you that animated.recipes is open, and for as long as you stay interested after that. You can ask us to delete it at any time, by writing to data.controller@kinetik.it.com.

Your rights

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have rights over your personal data under UK GDPR and GDPR. These include the right to see the data we hold about you, to correct anything inaccurate, to have it erased, and to object to certain processing. To use any of these rights, email data.controller@kinetik.it.com and we will respond without undue delay. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

When subscriptions open

Before we take any payment or make any videos for you, we will update this policy to cover what a subscription involves, and post the new version here.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the new version here with an updated date.
